Virtual markets for harvested produce and farming equipment provide a convenient platform for farmers to interact with consumers, bypass intermediaries, and increase profits.
RESULT
IoT based micro-environment monitoring and management of greenhouses and open precision farming, automatic irrigation scheduling including mobile app for greenhouse farmers.
Digital tools have made it easier for farmers to sell their produce and gain knowledge to improve their practices. Online marketplaces and videos provide convenient ways to connect with buyers and access the latest techniques.
